I fell for Psych whilst breastfeeding in 2008 – up late. Ch 10 you are crazy for dumping an awesomely hilarious show…if you thought about timeslot this show would have raked it in for you. I wonder how many others are downloading from other sites?

When will Psych season 3 be released on dvd in Australia? I love that show and watch the first two seasons over and over again… its awesome!!

@Scott… thats a tough one.

On one hand HD sports is great. I’d much rather them then SD.

On the other, all of the great shoes are missing out on HD.

Its a problem because 10 probably don’t have enough HD content to fill a channel, making them put sports on it (which I can see as reasonable).

Now with a second SD channel coming, I’d love to see both Monk, Psych and others on the new channel, and although its disappointing to not have them in HD, I think its something I can live with (for now)

Stop giving Ten such a hard time about ONE… For a sporting nation like ours we should be grateful we have got a free all sports channel. ONE is not even a year old yet, and should be given a chance to build up its profile of sports.

I am sure it is very hard when you have got heavyweights like FOX and ESPN bidding up the rights of everything and the government reviewing the anti siphoning list at the same time.

I for one don’t watch much sports, but there have already been some fantastic shows on ONE including The Poker Star which I believe was one of the best reality shows Australia have ever produced. Once Analog TV is gone TEN will be able to shift all AFL games across which will give ONE a huge boost.

And remember everyone that the second channel from TEN will be coming in 2010 and will probably show all the programs being talked about here……

the description “a fake psychic with great observational skills”make Psych and the mentalist sound like the exact same shows, but when you watch them you realise that they are very different. also in psych he is currently pretending to be physic while in the mentalist he only pretended to be in the past and now admits that the just has good observational skills.

Season 5 is definatly good news. Im happy to keep viewing this by other means… might have to start purchasing the DVD’s from R1 though if they aren’t going to release them before Ten ever screens them.

@Craig – funny you should say that because they sprung up after Psych, and Psych even makes reference to it the Mentalist in S04E01 – it gave me a laugh.

I’d like to know when they plan on releasing the DVD’s down here in Aus, so far we’ve only seen Psych season 1… Does ten have some sort of say in it, because we’ve only got Monk season 5 as well.

I love Psych – I wish Ten would either screen the next series soon or pass them onto TV1.
