Californication is back in on TEN. Karaoke High is out.

It was originally set down for the first week of TEN’s summer, but now it’s coming in the second.
Californication‘s third series will air from 10:05pm Wednesday December 9th.
Following Karen’s move to New York, Hank does his best to raise daughter Becca by himself. To make matters worse, Becca’s new best friend Chelsea has a fondness for sex, drugs and trouble.
That pushes TEN Late News back to 10:40pm, The 7PM Project rpt at 11:25pm and The Late Show with David Letterman to 11:55pm.
TEN has also pulled plans for Karaoke High (again) to be replaced by The Simpsons (again) 6pm Saturdays in December.

Am i crazy or did Ten not show all of series 2? I just caught up on DVD and i’m sure there were eps Ten did not show!! Anyone else find this?
It was on ten last night but started 1/2 hour late. This followed last week’s which i think was canned altogether because Rove ran overtime. Ten taking programming cues from Nine. Arrgh.
Can’t wait for the new season of Californication!
Excellent news
It’s a good show, but similar to Dexter, Aus viewers who are into it would have and would be downloading it, due to Ten taking too long to screen season 3.
Similar to The Office, it won’t deliver the ratings Ten require of it in the initial timeslot it’ll be placed in (even though ratings aren’t supposedly meant to ‘count’ in the summer recess), so will probably get screwed over like Nurse Jackie has and get moved to a 10.30 – 11 pm timeslot. In that case episodes of both The Office and Cali can and should be shown together, if my assumption proves correct.
I love Californication, but would’ve liked to have seen Karaoke High?
Ten are currently repeating Californication on sunday nights. By my calculations, this won’t have finish until after ten start the third season. Who’s crazy idea is that?
@FJ….
I think Channel 10 has deliberately waited until near Christmas so that the religious nutters won’t notice Californication because they’ll be too busy ranting about the commercialisation of Christmas.
Pity commercial networks in this country would rather show endless repeats (Simpsons, 2.5 men, etc) rather than try something new.
Good to have new episodes of “Californication”.
When will the religous nutters come out in protest?
Glad it’s finally being shown again!
