They haven’t released season 13-19 onto DVD yet, This was a special one-off you would think because it’s now 20years since the simpsons started..

This also co-incides with the fact that ‘The Simpsons:Season 20′ is gonna be released on Normal DVD around Christmas and onto Blu Ray in January at EZYdvd.

It’ll be interesting to see if the widescreen eps are SD upscales or actual HD.

And, for the very first time in Australia, they will be in HD (for the eps that were made in HD, Ep 9 onwards I think.)
I noticed on Fox8HD that every show is stated as being in widescreen according to the onscreen display. I dont have HD, so dont know if they have obtained reformatted shows. I think this is just a mistake on their part.

Thanks heaps for this info, David! I get the Foxtel mag and try to watch out for specials like this but I would have totally missed it if it wasn’t for your site. Much appreciated
