Arrested Development: no movie script yet
Bad news, Arrested Development fans.
It seems earlier talk of a feature film is a loooong way off.
Writer Mitch Hurwitz and co-executive producer James Vallely had been reportedly ‘working on the screenplay.’ But so far there is still no script.
MTV met up with Michael Cera, aka George-Michael Bluth, while he was promoting his new film “Youth in Revolt.”
“I don’t have any updates, no,” Cera said. “They haven’t written it yet. They’re working on outlining it right now.”
Cera said the film is on the backburner while Hurwitz is working on a new project.
“I think hopefully it will happen next year,” he said.
Up there with that Friends feature film perhaps?

I’m sure the script will be solid as a rock!
You expect me to believe this while wearing my $4000 suit… I mean.. Comeon!!!
Michael Cera seems to be the most reluctant to revisit the show, so it is no surprise he is talking down the project.
Whats the deal with the delay?????
Are they…………….chicken?

Whether it’s 2010 or 2050 – it’ll be fantastic whenever it happens.
Be it next year, or 5 years from now, the AD movie will be welcomed by fans.
One of the tightest, best written, and wackiest comedies of the decade!
If anyone hasn’t seen it (or thinks “who cares”) you should definitely give it a few hours worth of you time!
Who cares
Fifty years of waiting and it would still be worth it – I just hope it doesn’t take away from the original series.. best comedy alongside the office for some time.
Why is that the good die young?
