The deal is Fox Sports has the rights to show every series from England until 2013. For any tour featuring Australia Nine can also show them at the same time as Foxtel.

So yes SBS will not be showing Ashes in 2013 unless Nine onsold part of them like first session. The information does not give any indication whether Nine will show match live or delayed or join matches in progess. I could see this on Go if the anti-siphoning laws allowed it.

The deal means Nine And Foxtel will simulcast the 2013 Ashes Series, including all the Tests, one-day internationals and Twenty20 matches.

I’m confused. Since Australia plays in the Ashes who will be covering the ashes nine or foxtel??

Does this mean that Nine and not SBS will be showing the 2013 Ashes on FTA?
