Inside the Actors Studio meets Family Guy

By David Knox on December 18, 2009 / Filed Under Pay TV 5

ias_familyguyThis Saturday the cast of Family Guy sit down with Mr James Lipton.

According to Lipton, “I recommend seatbelts in your armchairs as the creator and cast of Family Guy assemble on our stage for a hilarious, irreverent look at themselves, each other, their characters and their spectacularly successful show.

“This is, quite simply, unlike any Inside the Actors Studio you’ve ever seen.”

It airs Saturday at 8.30pm on Bio.

I’m late to find the Actor’s Studio, but I caught it the other week wioth the repeat of the simpson’s interview. 1) I cannot believe how bad the host is
    2) I cannot believe how badly it was editied 3) I cannot belive why they would put vision over the actors ‘doing’ the voices and 4) Can anyone explain the unexplained absence of one of the guests half way through?

The idea is good – but the execution of this show is appalling

And I thought he was scraping the barrel with Jennifer Lopez!
I mean, Family Guy is one of my favourite show’s, but have the voice cast of a cartoon is not the kind of thing this show would have done a few years ago.

That’s good news. I always enjoy these ITAS specials. The Simpsons version of this is also playing Sunday night at 7.30pm (EDST) on Fox8.
