Lisa Kudrow recently guest starred alongside Courteney Cox in Cougar Town for an episode to air in the US in early January.
But the two won’t be Friends this time.
“They didn’t want to play friends,” executive producer Bill Lawrence (Scrubs, Spin City) told EW.com.
“She plays a dermatologist who is a horrible, horrible person, but [Cox] goes to her because she’s the best. The [sight] of them playing people who dislike each other intensely was very funny for me to watch.”
In 2007, the first on-screen Friends reunion happened when Jennifer Aniston guest starred on Cox’s FX drama, Dirt.
The series, featuring Cox as a recently divorced single mother exploring the honest truths about dating and aging, is due for Seven next year.

I’ve seen one promo that I remember, as for when it will start I doubt that will be before the Tennis or Winter Games on Nine. IMO Look for it starting in March.
