I cant wait for the new season. The countdown has well and truly begun.

Whatever happens with 24 and Lost in the scheduling my PVR is going to be on overdrive whatever happens or at least when the ratings season returns because Tuesday and Wednesday are my highest PVR days and to add 2 extra shows is going to be hard.

Who knows Seven might put Lost on Tuesday and 24 Wednesday although it seems like it will be the other way round.

@ Craig: To answer your question, Lost will run uninterrupted for 17 straight weeks, unless there is one of those presidential speeches they get in the US.

Great read at the top - not a typical American script... Really a great way to showcase a show without using new footage.. I'm hooked.

@Craig I'm pretty sure it will run through uninterrupted in the US, not sure about here though. If I'm not mistaken the last time the Winter Olympics clashed with Lost in the US, it ran uninterrupted and beat out the Olympics in its timeslot.

saw an ad for lost on 7two last night, just says 2010 though, but it looks promising that it will be 8:30pm and fast tracked, the day of the week doesn't really matter unless it clashes with stuff on other channels.

Love the last shot, should be one hell of a ride, for those who have stuck will the show.

Just one question, how does the Winter Olympics affect the schedule? I mean it's not on the same network in the US or here but most shows are being preempted over the last 2 weeks of Feb so will the show 2-3 eps then take a break?
