Sounds more like it might be along the lines of Scarecrow and Mrs. King, sort of. I'll tune in out of curiosity, but have to admit, I didn't care for Lost. Alias was more my liking, or should I say, addiction.

Abrams has made a habit of turning a seemingly dull premise into a great show. For example, Lost. A bunch of peple are stranded on an island after a plane crash and discover that mysterious things are happening. Sounds lame, doesn't it? Or how about an FBI agent, a mentally ill scientist and his tearaway son investigate cases centred around unproven science? Sounds gripping, right? Except it's called Fringe, and it is gripping.

Oh, and @Jed, I thought What About Brian was great.

After the BS, plot hole filled fest which was Star Wrek I'm never watching anything he's at the helm for and I've never really understood why he's look at as a marvel, for hack writing he's on par with Russell Davies and Brannon Braga.
