  2. Because Bert’s Family Feud is returning to Nine in 2010, will Million Dollar Wheel of Fortune, Temptation, The Price Is Right, the original version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, 1 vs 100, Sale of the Century as it’s former name, Burgo’s Catch Phrase, Pass the Buck and Shafted return too?

  3. Because Bert’s Family Feud will return to Nine in 2010, will Million Dollar Wheel of Fortune, Temptation, the original version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, The Price Is Right and Sale of the Century as it’s former name return too?

  4. @ Nick – you have a point – when Seven was at the peak of their powers between 05 and 07 their promos for new shows looked more like Movie trailers, Nine and Ten could learn a lot from that technique.

  5. Community is great. Can’t wait to see how 9 manage to kill it.

Politically Incorrect Parenting Show is quite good too from what I’ve seen. I look forward to seeing the series…could be a sleeper hit.

  6. Who decided which shows were put in the ‘Returning Shows’ category and which were put in ‘Returning Favourites’?
How is Farmer not a favourite yet Funniest Home Videos is? Bizarre

  7. Hope the IQ Test is on at 7:30PM.

Also would nice to see a 4th gameshow on Nine (we have Hot Seat, Millonaire and Pyramid)-how about Temptation (with new hosts obviously- seeing as Livinia is pregnant and Ed’s contract expired last year).

Of course that could be tough to juggle-seeing as 2 and a half men is popular in the 7PM time slot.

Could AFP prove a challenger to Seven’s border security-Yes I think it can

  8. I’ve seen large chunks of AFP through sly means and it’s absolutely amazing. Genuinely fly-on-the-wall, energetically filmed & none if the freaking xenophobia of border security. Highly recommend, shame it’s on 9: home of audience abuse

  9. Meeeh not bad, definitely better than this year but still we’ll see how much of their new local content gets shown. They’ve done this since around 07, they talk about a new local aussie show, with a terrible name name, it comes in and out of discussion, no confirmation or official promotion, it goes through a name change, absolutesly no buzz or very poor buzz is created, the show then premieres mediocre or s**t, and hovers in and out of schedule, or never sees the light of day.

This also happens with the launching of imported stuff, we hear about it, talk about it, the network may even run a promo for it but then nothing happens. If they are not going to show it thats fine, but dont talk about it or promote it then decide to ditch it

They have lost confidence with launching content, so hopefully they’re willing to take risks as it seems like they already are, and will go to the effort of promoting and launching new shows, local and imported. They need a new head of promotions, to promote big new imports like V or The Forgotten like they’re premiere blockbuster movies, not ‘the big drama event’ wtf does that mean. And they can’t go saying its the biggest and best, that means nothing. They have to steer clear of all Television promotion stereotypes, Seven never really went on about how PTTR was Aus’s number 1 rating drama, they may have mentioned it here and there but it was never overused in promotions. People want quality, if they can see the quality through well carried out promotion.

  10. The Price is Right or Temptation for 2010 returning would be nice.

I wonder since the day they got rid of Kate Collins of ACA if her audience who used to stick around for 2.5 men afterwards has since switched elsewhere.

  11. Love the schedule for next year. I’ll definitely be feeling right at home with Channel Nine.

Channel Seven’s probably got the worst schedule out of the three commercial networks.

  12. These shows are Nine not GO!
I fully expect Top Gear Australia to be a series not specials.
I suspect deals have not yet been done for The Apprentice Australia given it only just concluded. You can’t really announce a show you haven’t secured. My instincts are it will return, especially given the enthusiasm Mark Bouris expressed to me. That’s the biggest hurdle out of the way.
