  1. Hi, David can you please tell me if you guys could possibly always have the 5 cities figures on, I find it more intresting to see in wha cities Nine wins, otherwise I have to assume that this year its just Syd & Mel, but I would like to know for sure about these things!

    Thanks

    Hugh!

  2. Notice the latest 7pm project ads are much better suited to the show, i.e. more light hearted which the show actually is rather than a news program which it ain’t. WIll be interesting to see whether it works but replacing Carrie and Dave would be a good start as they have little to contribute other than (1) autocue reader and (2) testing lame jokes. Charlie and some of the semi regulars are good and bring in some good talent for hit and run shows e.g. Tony Martin or Mal Wladen

  3. Ten don’t care, they have a big year to match the ratings of 2009 with MC and other programming. Ten’s problem is that their US content is outdated (in style and concept) while their movie showings are mostly repeats. They are never going to match Nine and Seven as TV for older people (40yr+) but instead get a little older with Ten, stay youth orientated for Ten2 and Sport for One giving an overall good mix. Seven will dominate because they have the shows 40yr+ people want to watch e.g. Border Protection, Pick on a Minority etc, you get the drift and Nine basically do the same.

  4. I hope Seven Brisbane have a contingency plan – because their ratings seem to be crumbling. A resurgent Nine will place big pressure on BTQ, and Deal and No Deal will not help Seven one little bit. Even Sharyn appears to be under the pump on weekends. Maybe its time for Seven execs to think more about the Brisbane audience and put something worthwhile on at 5.30 – maybe a new 30 minute Local Edition. The advertorial Great South East is old and stale, with Sofie swanning around thinking everything is wonderful (but for a fee).

  5. I think ten has got trigger happy, ive seen the tbyg 2010 ad about 30 times and its already annoying me and it doesnt start for ages, slow down ten or you will annoy the crap out of people. I still cant wait for the new eps though!

  6. lol @ TENs shocking Summer. Doubt its going to get any better than what we are witnessing. Nine are shocking at covering NYE Fireworks.. I dont watch any Free to Air TV during the holidays.. its all poo.

  7. @Guy i think that seven will air double eps of greys anatomy 2 catch up with private practice then move private practice 2 9:30pm, i reckon tuesday night and it may get a boost from a lead in with the factuals then the 7:30pm thursday slot last year. Tuesday would be good because packed to the rafters can take over after greys finishes @ 8:30pm.
