Former NRL player Wendell Sailor has signed with FOX Sports to appear as a panellist on its weekly magazine show, NRL on FOX in 2010.
He joins the team after a 16-year career in both rugby league and rugby union, playing 19 Tests with the Kangaroos and 37 with the Wallabies. He has also been a regular on the NRL Footy Show.
Soames Treffry, Director FOX Sports Channels, said “We’re absolutely delighted to have a personality of Wendell’s calibre joining the NRL on FOX team for the 2010 season.
“International Dell is one of the most accomplished sportsmen in the country, a much-loved character in the game of rugby league, and a self-described ‘dual.'”
Sailor said, “I’ve always enjoyed watching the show and jumped at the opportunity to get on board for next season.”
He will also appear in Seven’s second series of Australia’s Greatest Athlete in 2010.
NRL on FOX will return on Wednesday 10 March, 2010.

His antics are boring.
Great..!! Wendell is an awesome talent who actually knows what he is talking about.. Thats why he should not be on the “footy” show.. He must prefer talking about the game than dressing up in womans clothing… NRL on fox is an excellent show..
According to the Daily Telegraph he will be on NRL on Fox and also The Footy Show.
AGA was on 9.
David, Australia’s Greatest Athlete was on Nine not Seven.
Oh Wendell, how sad you made my sons when you left the Dragons.
“Seven’s second series of Australia’s Greatest Athlete in 2010”
Do you mean Nine (who aired Series 1), or has Seven acquired the rights to the second series?
AGA screen on Nine this year (source: wikipedia). Has Seven stolen it from Nine for next year?
Wendell was great on the NRL Footy Show this year. I’m disappointed he didn’t sign with them, especially since I don’t have pay tv.
I’m surprised he didn’t sign with Nine actually.
So, the deodorant advertorial’s back next year…
Wow thats a shock I thought he would sign with the Footy Show for sure!
Wonder whats going on there… I don’t see Dell as a serious panelist…
If he replaces Warren Smith then the show might be worth watching
