Just putting this information here for the record, ‘cos I’m returning the magazine to the library today.
The Australian Women’s Weekly June 2009, p31. Jacki Weaver, “I went to a very sad funeral last week. My friend (actress) Penny Ramsey died of cancer, aged 61.”
Also here’s a link with a little more info, einsiders.com/february-2009/hollywood-obituaries/february-2009-hollywood-obituaries-by-rusty-white.html
Richard Wilkins must be counting down the days for Jeff Goldblum to die, just so he can say ‘i told you so’.
When i see Edward Woodward’s name i always smile.
How about Australian actress Penny Ramsey who died of cancer in February 2009? Hardly anywhere reported it, but Jacki Weaver attended her funeral. The Australian Women’s Weekly tells me so.
If as you say few places reported it, it’s hard for me to pick it up as News, but thanks for letting us know.
MJ ?
Joel he was listed in June.
Wow, really pulls things into perspective when you see everyone listed like that…
Your spirit is alive and kicking in our hearts Jeff 🙂
It’s been a pretty big year for celebrity deaths.
regarding Jeff Goldblum. LOL, Richard “exclusive” Wilkins will never live that one down.
Don’t forget Paul Naschy, the “Boris Karloff of Spain”, who died November 30.
So many celebs passed away this year it seemed to occur on a weekly basis almost!
May 2010 see less of these entertainers leave our shores – including Jeff Goldblum – who must be grateful to Richard Wilkins for giving him an excuse to laugh in the face of death….!
