Betty White accepted a Lifetime Achievement Award from Sandra Bullock joking, “It’s heartening to see how far a girl as plain as she is can go.
“I am still to this day starstruck. I look out at this audience and I see so many famous faces. But what really boggles my mind is that I actually know many of you. And I’ve worked with quite a few. Maybe had a couple.”

Betty White is a very deserving winner. Classy, talented and a brilliant sense of humour.
Betty White with a career in TV and Film of sixty years has more talent than half the talentless hacks filling the seats there put together.
@AA
Showcase are repeating the 2010 SAG awards on Saturday 30th January x 2 timeslots.
@Kerri Moody
Not sure what went wrong your end with Foxtel but I had the show scheduled in my planner for over a week and it recorded on the correct date and time listed. It’s even listed correctly in the January Magazine (page 173) for the correct time. Anyway, check your guide for this coming Saturday – you have a couple of time slots, depending on where you are located, as mentioned above. Good luck.
It is worth tuning in just to watch Betty White, she was great.
@ Francis – I agree, the Good Wife is a great show.
I would have loved to watch the SAG awards I wait all year to watch the award shows. So my comment is why could you not get the date and time the sag awards were aired Right. I am feeling quiet cheated with the amount of money I pay Foxtel each month because the channels I like to watch are just repeats over and over again,and then the one show that isnt a repeat but live you got the programming Wrong. Try to get the Academy Awards listed on the correct day and time. As I love to watch TV I hope more competition comes soon as Foxtel Sucks but it is all we have to watch the live Motorbike racing.
Thank you
Sick of Foxtel
I believe The Good Wife will do well on ch 10.
After everyone sees that awards it won, people will actually think this show has something and watch it to see why it won those awards.
I’ve watched the eps from the US and the show is amazingly good. If you don’t like it at all then you must not like tv at all either
Any Pay tv channels airing/ the awards show?
AA: it was live on Showcase yesterday.
For once Betty White is happy to have her name appear in the same sentence as the word ‘sag’
Congrats to Betty White love her 🙂
And congrats also to Glee 🙂
So many good shows won, pity most are either on late night on PayTV, good to see Glee win. Hope The Good Wife does well for TEN this year.
Great to see Micheal C. Hall get the recognition he thoroughly deserves.
