A Lost leak

By David Knox on January 31, 2010 / Filed Under News 13

The first four minutes of the final season of Lost have been leaked online, embedded in various websites after some fans were given merchandise following a competition.

The footage picks up from the final scene of the last season which saw Juliet slipping into a shaft.

The clip has since been released by ABC Studios on its own website.

Meanwhile, travel website kayak.com bizarrely offers Oceanic Flight 815 as one of its flights from Sydney to Los Angeles. If you search for a one way flight leaving on Sept. 22 (the same day the show premiered in 2004) the flight comes up in search results with a hefty price of $4839 (page 20 results).

Clicking on the flight will direct you to a Lostpedia site.

The show returns to 7TWO 9:30pm on Wednesday February 10 and is repeated at 11:30pm on Seven.

Seven is playing it at 11:30pm the same night as 7TWO -but just one ep instead of two. I would also check their Plus7 website afterwards.

Hey, does anyone know where us poor “unable to get digital ruralites” can watch lost? I was so angry to find they were screening the very last season on digital not analogue — S**t man, Ive been waiting 5 years for answers to questions and I cant even watch it!!!

I’m growing tired of websites calling this a ‘leak’: ABC had a trivia competition going on their website, and the prize was a four minute video inside a bottle, if I’m not mistaken. These are opt the first four minutes of LA X. ABC has specifically said that the prize was a video of the closing minutes of The Incident, then the opening minutes of LA X. LA X will open with the second half of the video, the part that does not feature LaFleur, Juliet, or Kate. Thought that needed clearing up.

It wasn’t a leak. ABC wouldn’t release a clip ‘out there’ without realising it would be posted somewhere 5 minutes later. They wanted everyone to see it.

    I want to look, but…

No, I’ve waited this long, I can wait another 10 days for the entire episode.

I’m surprised this got out. I assume ABC only released it on their own website because it was released already. They’re probably fuming.

Captivating! I had drifted away a little over the last 2 seasons, but will definitely return for the final season. Can’t wait.

It wasn’t really a leak. When they decided to screen the first hour at “Sunset on the Beach” Hawaii they decided to send out a quick promo so fans didn’t feel left out.

Looks interesting just a shame it’s not on the 3rd as that would be just hours after the US, maybe 7 will air a double ep in the second week to catch up?

Yes I know the first week is a double ep plus a re-cap of the show so far.
