Better Homes and Gardens plans live event

Spicks and Specks, RocKwiz and Top Gear have all done it, now Better Homes and Gardens will stage a live event, in October at Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park.

The joint magazine-TV brand will offer live demonstrations, interactive workshops and classes, plus appearances by celebrities from Seven show. Over 200 exhibitors will participate in the three-day event in food, home, gardening and lifestyle zones.

Julia Zaetta, Editor of Better Homes and Gardens magazine, says, “Better Homes and Gardens Live is a one-of-a-kind event built to further satisfy the interests of our smart, strong and loyal following. We welcome this direct opportunity to interact with our audience and to offer an experience that further inspires our readers and viewers to put great ideas for the home.”

It takes place from Friday 15th to Sunday 17th October.

    i think it is very unfair on all your compatiation you put you can enter as many times you like, it should be one entery one phone number to make it fair to all

    That’s the challenge and the drawcard because anything can go wrong with live TV, he could do something like curing an animal of a behavioural issue within an hour. That’s why it would be a good idea because the presenters can just edit out all their mistakes when it’s pre-recorded. I think a live broadcast of BH&G would be a ratings bonanza & a chance to show off their skills in real time.

    Sure they can do Better Homes & Gardens live, but footy live, no!

    They are just copying Gardening Australia’s idea of having expos. I’d be more impressed if they did a live show on television where each presenter has an hour to complete what they are preparing while the viewer gets to see the progress as they switch over to each presenter periodically.
