A number of actors have been confirmed for COPS L.A.C., Nine’s new police drama.
In addition to Kate Ritchie, the cast now includes:
- Martin Dingle-Wall (Rescue: Special Ops, Underbelly, Satisfaction, Home and Away, All Saints)
- Graeme Squires (Home and Away)
- Kelly Paterniti (Packed to the Rafters, Stormworld, Wormwood)
- Tom O’Sullivan (Wolverine, Happy Feet, Rainshadow, Home and Away, Streetsmartz)
- Ria Vandervis (pictured -Underbelly, Packed to the Rafters, Rescue: Special Ops, The Cut).
The series begins filming in May in Sydney and screens later this year.
Other roles are yet to be confirmed.

I’m looking forward to seeing Kelly Paterniti, her performance in S-27 was absolutely brilliant (the reviews of her performance were sensational)
When will the next Australian show that is Not about cops or set in a hospital happen ? or these 2 formats are the only they will use ??
Have they repatched the logo over the uniforms from the last cop show ?
It will probably be axed in a year and then be repeated on Hallmark 50 times.

Benjamin – the last good cop show they had was ‘Water Rats’ – the last cop show they had was ‘Young Lions’… God that was terrible.
Wow, so many no names. I thought 9 would try and get some well knowns to at least give it a chance in the ratings.
The only people I have seen before, with the exception of Sally, are Dingle and Ria Vandervis. Ria was really good, Dingle was shocking. What is with the networks always pairing “Flynn” and “Sal” together. Enough.
And sadly I’ve met Squires. I didn’t even know who he was until a did a google search just now.
The Kelly girl looks really unsuited. I don’t think I’ll be able to get over the fact she looks like she belongs in Home and Away.
I guess I’ll watch the first episode hoping its something like Water Rats, Murder Call or Stingers, but I doubt it.
Too many ex Home and away actors in this, which is putting me off watching. I will see what i think of this nearer the time.

it already looks boring to me but I won’t officially think that til after seeing the full ep 1 .I might like it 51% and keep watching ..
So is one of these people listed the replacement for Gordon? I heard someone else was in mind for her role.

The last cop show that Ch 9 had was “Water Rats”, back in the 90′s.
I had previously reported Jodi Gordon did not take up the offer for this show.
So no progress on changing its title to something less inanely stupid?

It’s only a matter of time before Gary Sweet is cast.
According to today’s SMH, Gary Sweet has also been cast.
Sheeeez, I can’t wait for the day when 9′s prop room full of cop sets & clothes burns down !
