Dances with schedules

Is it time to start speculating about TEN's post-Easter scheduling?

TEN’s post-Easter schedule for the week of April 11 contains no new surprises, with no sign yet of MasterChef Australia or finales for other shows.

However the Top 4 dancers in So You Think You Can Dance Australia won’t undergo an elimination, which alters Thursday’s line up for April 15 as follows:

7:30pm The Biggest Loser
8:00pm TBA
8:30pm Law and Order: SVU
9:30pm Medium
10:30pm TEN Late News with Sports Tonight

It logically puts the finale for Dance with its Top 4 dancers as April 21 but this is yet to be confirmed.

TEN has a habit of ending and launching its big shows during the same week in April which has previously seen them nab a weekly win.

  1. Get Rid of Masterchef and 7pm.I would not care if they moved Ready Steady Cook permanently to 7pm weeknights even if it means Judge Judy goes to 2pm,Bold and Beautiful at 2:30pm,3pm A Comedy of some sort 3:30pm Huey Cooking and a Return to Childrens Programming like what we had prior to 1996 between 4 and 5pm.Option B would be A Jamie Oliver Cooking Programme Nightly that would boost the ratings big time and a very last resort would be going be to really old sitcoms from the eighties and nineties.

  2. If Ten drop 7pm Project I suggest bringing back Seinfeld or any of their other US Sitcoms they used to fill the timeslot Pre Big Brother,Yasmins Getting Married and Taken Out.What people want is some light viewing after the Simpsons and Neighbours when they get home from work Masterchef is not the answer.

  3. I used to watch The Biggest Loser most nights last year. But its 7:30pm timeslot this year, is inconvenient. So haven’t seen it much.

MasterChef should be given the 7pm Slot, to give it the best chance of rating big numbers

  4. the only logical thing is to rest 7PM and give MC the best chance it can, they dont want to risk it on later time slot and have numbers like BL and SYTYCD.
Make 7PM a weekly catch up after MC and help build its audience again

  5. nat said a month on tonights show. I wonder if ten are using their brains and are thinking about either moving or axing 7pm so masterchef can have the 7pm slot. maybe thats why no date is set?
