Lost catches up on Seven

By David Knox on March 14, 2010 / Filed Under Programming 13

Good news for Lost fans who watch on Seven, and not 7TWO.

A double episode will air on March 31st to bring them in line with 7TWO.

When the season premiered on Seven last month, just one episode of the double premiere aired, effectively putting the two channels a week apart.

“Recon” and “Ab Aeterno” will air at 10:30pm / 11:30pm respectively on Seven. Thereafter both channels will be in sync with the same episode.

Please be HD, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease. I am a week behind everyone else in Australia because I choose to watch the HD version only. This show is something to behold in HD, would be a shame to lose that, yet again!

so does that mean it is from a HD source or is it upscaled from SD?

    Dav

Channel 7 will still be a week behind the us as is 7two, the new ep airs in us the day that we get the episode that aired the week before in the us

finally, i can now record the show on 7HD”

Well you and everyone else that wants to watch it in HD now will be far from happy now. When Seven screens Lost on 7HD just after the USA screening it is always a crappy upscaled SD source on the HD channel so there wil be little point in recording the HD channel version as we will no longer be able to see it in HD unless the USA screening is at least a few days before our screening.
Every time Lost has been “fast-tracked” we have never seen the HD version on the 7HD channel.
Now Seven have screwed viewers that appreciate HD yet again.

I really hope they end up catching us up to the US, I really dont want to have to wait a week before seeing it after its aired there, too many chances of spoilers. I know its good we only have to wait a week unlike most shows but still this show is so good cause you never know whats going to happen and I just dont want it to be spoiled right before the last ep

Oh thank god. I was wandering when 7 was going to do this. The 10:30 to 11:30 timeslot is horrid, even if it is for a week.

Excellent. I get to watch Fringe, Sarah Connor, then Lost. 12:30am is a bit of an ask but Lost is worth it.

yess i love 7two as well!
it isnt full of rubbish like go and i think its pathetic that people actually watch all of those old shows when you could be watching new episodes of lost, 24, stargate atlantis, heroes, ugly betty, heartbeat, mercy, etc at decent times. go has little new content most of which is stuck in late timeslots.

Guess i’ll just stick with 7two.

Lol, i would much rather watch the episodes in HD, but i can’t stay up ’till 12:30am, considering i have to wake up at 6….:P

I agree with 7Two rocks! that it is the better digital channel I mean they have more free to air first run content in the evening except Sunday and the repeats rotate like Mother and Son played all the episodes so they went on to Benny Hill then when that is finished they will play What a Carry On. The mornings include classic episodes of Home and Away and Sons and Daughters which makes a change to old US sitcoms all the time. Also enjoy the UK soaps even if the episodes are from 2002.

Let me tell you, 7Two isn’t full of crap like GO! I Love 7Two!
