Magic set to return to Merlin

By David Knox on March 4, 2010 / Filed Under Programming 11

Attention Merlin fans, you won’t have to wait much longer.

TV Tonight understands the second season is not far away now.

No airdate just yet, but it shouldn’t be too much longer.

The fantasy series was a surprise hit for TEN last year.

The second series will include appearances from Mackenzie Crook, Sarah Parrish and Charles Dance.

The second series gets off to a bit of a slow start but there are some cracking episodes later on. And this time they have more than one storyline too – though there are a couple of episodes still where Merlin has to save Arthur yet again.

…and what a magical and very funny series it is too, fans would be well advised not to miss the two parter Beauty and the Beast, it is hilarious

Merlin is a great show, 10 should stick with last years timeslot then follow it with Legend Of The Seeker, which in my opinion is even better than Merlin!

excellent, i’m really looking forward to it. hopefully it will get the same timeslot, don’t mess with a good thing, moving TBYG cost it over 300,000 viewers.

Could be good for Monday, but Id keep it and pair it up with MC like last year.

I think 10 will put it in the same timeslot as last year.

Surely it will return to Sunday 6.30 where it has done so well. But I thought The Biggest Loser would be on air for a fair bit longer.

I can’t see Ten returning this before Masterchef? It paired so well together last year!

Too little, too late Ten. This should have been fast-tracked from the UK.

Well at least being TEN when they start promoting Merlin as ‘coming soon’ we know it will be soon, unlike V which has been coming soon for like the last 4-5 months!
