Rob Lowe tipped for Parks & Recreation

By David Knox on March 4, 2010 / Filed Under News 6

Rob Lowe, who has already been reported as exiting Brothers and Sisters, is reportedly heading to Parks and Recreation.

Michael Ausiello reports, “I’m told that Lowe, who, as you know, is leaving Brothers & Sisters at season’s end, would appear in multiple episodes of Parks and Rec beginning later this season and extending into next. (NBC wisely went ahead and renewed the comedy for a third season.). Details about Lowe’s character are being kept under the tightest of wraps. I should know more as soon as his deal becomes official.”

At least he would be on a more cheery project than the weepy Walker clan, which is what he seemed to be longing for.

Such a switch would doubtless push the dashing Mr. Lowe back even further on Seven’s schedule now. Or possibly into summer….

Rob Lowe is great on Brothers & Sisters, but I must say he looks a bit like Marcia Cross in that pic… Botox alert!

Parks and Recreation is so funny! I really hope it returns after Easter on Channel 7.

They should put P&R on after B&S on either Monday or Tuesday.

I hate his character on B&S, can’t wait for him to leave.

Time for Seven to bring this show back on Monday nights. Maybe some Rob Lowe fans will stick around after Brothers and Sisters finishes.

that would be a good move for him i think. i just got Parks & Rec DVD yesterday and watched it all last night – hilarious show! i hear that the second season is even better. I wish Ch7 would air season 2 now – would be great line up with 30 Rock on a Mon night!

Lowe would be perfect in Parks and Recreation, which in my opinion was one of the best shows on over summer. Seven should promote it and place it on Thursdays after How I Met Your Mother.
