Apparently Ellen DeGeneres has now picked up on a rather fetching moment recently on the Today show when Karl and Lisa played Winter Olympics sports on a Wii.

Ha Ha I love it….Karl is the best thing about the Today Show.
I was someone that used to dislike Karl intensely, but after seeing him grill Tony Abbott about meeting Rupert Murdoch, my opinion of him has done a full 360 degrees. I think I finally “get” Karl – he is just a daggy kid at heart but is actually a very astute and intelligent journalist inside. Kudos Karl. I have always loved Lisa – she is very genuine and extremely intelligent and classy – Kudos Lisa. Loved seeing her and Karl have fun on the Wii.

But the game’s not Wii Fit Olympics, it’s Mario and Sonic at the Winter Olympics (Vancouver Olympics with Mario and Sonic characters).

I saw that when it aired. LMAO at the time, and did again just then. It was a bit post-modern though, as I watched the youtube clip here, channel Nine morning news showed a story on Ellen watching the clip. Talk about weird coincidence.
