Great to see SBS continue their tradition with this wonderful competition. Even casual Aussie football fans love the FA Cup Final from Wembley Stadium. Let’s hope it’s a great game.
Scott – glad you asked. 1) SBS have a charter for alternative programming – this is pretty mainstream 2) There is now a dedicated fta sports channel that could show this (not to mention the pay options). 3) (i have looked so if you can justify i will reconsider but..) SBS doesn’t publish what it costs to buy soccer nor do they publish their profit on this event. i highly doubt they make a profit and even if they do i’m not sure it matters. the point is that for years public money has been spent on the personal indulgence for soccer of a few sbs exec’s – its not good enough imo.
Will it be broadcast in HD on SBS HD?
That’s a no.
baggy green what are u on about? sbs have major companys advertising during this telecast . u dont have to watch do you? go and watch silly 20/20 cricket or somthing
more wasted taxpayer money by SBS.
Go Pompey, all of England is counting on you!
