As previously noted last month, SBS has recorded a retrospective Eurovision special which will air this Saturday night. It’s the perfect entree to Oslo 2010 a week later.

And yes, you will even see Les Murray become singing Les Murray.

In its 55th year, the world’s favourite song contest is back! Oslo will host Eurovision 2010 and you will be there with Julia Zemiro and Sam Pang heading up SBS ONE’s extensive coverage of the event.

Kicking off the week’s festivities is Eurovision A to Z (Saturday May 22 at 8.30pm). This special, hosted by Julia and Sam, will look at all things Eurovision from Abba to Gina G.

Special guests include Les Murray, Meow Meow, Gina G, Bjorn Again and three times Eurovision winner Johnny Logan.

Eurovision 2010 promises to be bigger than ever. SBS ONE co-hosts Julia and Sam will spend a week in Norway soaking up the atmosphere before taking up their commentary positions in the brand new Telenor Arena.

It airs Saturday, 22 May at 8.30pm on SBS ONE.

Also Part 2 of Countdown to Eurovision airs 4pm Friday on SBS ONE.

  1. Julia Zemiro and Sam Pang heading up the event,I must be clairvoyant I can see the feedback on Eurovision proper already.Save some $$$$ SBS and just take the Norton feed.
