Daytime Emmys: Nominees

General Hospital, The Young and the Restless, Sesame Street and Ellen are all big nominees in the 37th annual Daytime Emmy Awards.

The nominations for the 37th annual Daytime Emmy Awards were announced yesterday.

General Hospital came out on top, scoring 18 nods followed by The Young and the Restless with 16; Sesame Street with 14; and As The World Turns and One Life To Life, each of which scored 13.

The Ellen DeGeneres Show has eight nominations, including Outstanding Talk Show but not, surprisingly, Outstanding Talk Show Host. It was closely followed by The View which earned five. Oprah has four.
