From July both Nine and WIN sales teams in Sydney will be housed in a joint sales hub at Willoughby. The two teams will remain independent but work collaboratively.

Peter Wiltshire, Director of Sales and Marketing for Nine said, “Having the sales teams co-located from July will strengthen the relationship between Nine and WIN/NBN. Our sales teams and our clients will benefit from a greater understanding of the nuances of Metro vs. Regional television. Our teams are excited by the prospect of providing the ad market, for the first time, with an Australia-wide television advertising solution.”

WIN CEO John Hatcher said, “Within Australia’s complex media buying landscape, our unique combination of Regional and Metropolitan market expertise provides an innovative framework to better serve the advertising market today and into the future. This move confirms WIN/NBN and Nine’s commitment to enhancing the service we provide and exemplifies our position as innovative industry leaders.”

Nine’s Melbourne sales team relocates to new Docklands premises before Christmas.

Brisbane will also be relocated to the West End thereafter.

  1. @Smacca: It has to be good enough, that he switched Adelaide and Perth back to dotty.

I wonder if this is the seed, for what will happen, if reach limits are eliminated: Win buying the network, and hopefully looking to do things in the larger capitals.

  2. I wonder what sort of involvement Bruce Gordon has with the network these days? They’ve come a long way since the negotiation meltdowns, program axings and metro market take-overs in 2006-07.
