Underbelly double
Nine airs an Underbelly double this Sunday, but still gives you an out clause if your would rather watch the opposition.

This Sunday night Nine will air a double episode of Underbelly.
If it conflicts with your other viewing choices (ie. The Good Wife, Bones, Foyle’s War, Dateline), it is repeated next Wednesday night at 10:30pm. Nine’s dilemma in scheduling repeats is that it actually undermines the need to drive viewers to the premiere…
A week later, May 16, it has a one hour Underbelly again repeated on the Wednesday, May 19.
Sunday’s planned episode of Australian Families of Crime profiling Abe Saffron will now air a week later.

underbelly’s amazing.
FWIW I think it is a typically bad programming decision by Nine. They milk everything to death until there’s nothing left. They got lucky with Underbelly and everyone knows it. There is no real strategic thinking going on here at all. It’s a war of attrition every week – and Michael Healy is amazingly good at it!
Or just wait for the DVD, see the show uncut and no ads.
Thanks for the news David,
Nine I don’t see the point?
so will we ever be seeing V again?
theres a V episode next monday, but the guide says repeat.
Why do we need to have a double? It interrupts the flow of the 9.30 show. They screened one episode on a Monday then another episode on a Sunday now there will be a break of two weeks. This is programming stupidity.
Underbelly hasn’t been on Nine on a Monday. The two week break was due to Logies. No more breaks coming up yet.
it is necessary, They are winning sundays comfortably at the moment and they could have extended that by another week instead of wasting a double episode. They should not be in a rush to get the series over and done with. Give Australian families time to settle in the time slot instead of having it on one week, off for the logies, on again and then off for an underbelly double.
Same geos for the double The Pacific on Seven next week. unnecessary.
Pacific needs 9:30 eps for classification reasons.
same tactic 7 are using with the pacific.
the audience pool is being pumped. go for as many swims as you can before it’s gone.
that Australian Families of Crime show was not very good, premiere didn’t rate well i doubt it will make much of a splash when it returns. but this can’t help. 9 never seems to get underbelly leadouts to be a success. cashmiere mafia, 11th hour, CIA ect.
