  1. It would be alot better without shortland street.
That is one of the most annoying shows to watch. Poor acting, horrible accents, paper thin story lines, less than attractive actors and actresses. It has no class at all, real trash.

  2. Not happy about Sons and Daughters taken off air from 7 TWO. It might still be on late at night once a week on channel 7 but they were way behind 7 TWO’s daily showings.I missed so many eps when they originally aired in the eighties. Now I was enjoying the nostalgia every morning and it just stopped at episode 561 with no warning. Hope channel doesn’t pull the pin as well cos it’s not on next Wednesday night.

  3. Im really enjoying watching the old home and away episodes. It was so different back then and its good to see some of the old characters. Half an hour difference doesn’t really matter.

  4. As much as I love eastenders, and would like to see it back on FTA, I would hate to see it on a commercial channel. Can you imagine the full half hour soap with ads, they would make it go for 45 minutes, it would be awful. It would be great if the abc bought it back.

  5. I love Shortland Street … can’t bare to miss a day of it …
By the way, I agree with Paul … he has a much better grip on good scheduling than the idiot programmers!
Yes, they need to add Eastendeers too!

  6. Regarding Brenton (June 10, 2010 at 2:06pm)

Having one-hour episodes like back in 1999 would have its advantages, like getting through the series twice as quick, but it also has its disadvantages, such as the likelihood of them snipping off the opening and closing titles (the closing titles for the first episode went missing, and the opening titles (and also the recap!!!) went missing from the second episode, of each day’s double-episode.

  7. Great to see Sons and Daughters and Home and Away in the schedule, two of Australia’s best soaps of the 80’s! Not complaining about Alf and Full House either!

  8. Really enjoying Sons and Daughters at the moment. I forgot how realistic it was in the first year, before it got more far fetched. It was a great character driven soap, the first year. Don’t like the new 8.30 time, though, an odd time for a soap. They should leave it at nine and leave one of the UK soaps on in the arvo.

  9. I’m annoyed that they’ve moved Martha. When Ellen is back to new episodes I won’t be watching 3:30pm was a good time and then it leads into all the other cooking shows. I hope the midday movies are good …….
