No Deal on bold promo

Without any thought of Spoiler-ing, a Deal or No Deal promo clearly states that a contestant "will win $200,000."

Interesting promo for Deal or No Deal doing the rounds, for an episode that goes to air today.

Without any thought of Spoiler-ing the promo clearly states that a contestant “will win $200,000.” There was once a time when the last thing a network wanted to do was giveaway the ending to a quiz show.

Now with Deal locked in a tight battle with Nine’s Hot Seat, it seems all bets are off. Unless she is given the “Double or Nothing” option?

Wonder if we will be seeing more Spoilers for other Seven shows? Will we be told who wins Australia’s Got TalentMy Kitchen Rules before it airs? Next winner? Does the million bucks go off on Minute to Win It?

  2. Just saw a promo on Nine advertising a Million Dollar Question coming up, this first aired during Friday Night Football on June 4. The surroundings suggest a win, but I think it’ll be a loss.

  3. Well, it looked like Seven’s strategy worked, because people watched.

    Wednesday – Deal 877, Hot’s 676
    Tuesday – Deal 784, Hot’s 719
    Monday – 729, Hot’s 721

  4. In the UK version when the jackpot has been won twice. The first time around the news got out, but was really only known to people who went searching for it – while the second time they kept it an absolute secret and had it play out on air. Indeed she’d already accepted a deal and only won it by taking the Bankers Gamble which was offered with the lowest value (1p) and highest value (£250k) being in the game.
