Silly to rest Sunday Night its hit its strides in ratings terms this year; I honestly thought it would have gone to 7.30 that way in 10 weeks time Seven would be almost ready to fast-track bones and castle again to Sunday Nights.

Dancing will no doubt perform well despite MasterChef and a lack of actual “stars”. It will have the best lead-in of the week and will maintain the news audience. Over 55s avoid MC like the plague and jump on DWTS like Anna Nicole-Smith on a rich old man.

The premiere will probably be pushed back in South Australia due to the AFL match between Adelaide and Melbourne on that day (which starts at 4pm local time). From Week 2 onwards it will be shown at the normal time of 6.30pm.
