Newspaper spoiling MasterChef
When you have a live blog with MasterChef evictees it's pretty silly to go telling your readers who will feature tomorrow...

For weeks now the Daily Telegraph has been hosting live blogs with evictees from MasterChef.
Yesterday it hosted a live blog with evictee Alvin Quah. It finished by saying it would have a live chat with Courtney today.
Courtney Roulston was booted from the show last night.
In today’s chat with Courtney it tells readers who will feature in tomorrow’s live blog.
Bow bow.
TEN is urgently in contact with the newspaper now to address the issue.
The spoiling of MasterChef evictees is a sensitive topic, especially following the publication of one evictee in an inner-Sydney newspaper before it had aired.
TEN plans to shoot Sunday’s winner announcement just hours before it goes to air as a way of minimising the leaks.
Good luck with that….

Really affected the ratings, hasn’t it?
What more do you expect from the Daily Telegraph… Lousy journalism is their schtick
reckon it all has to be like big brother. lock down, and each week only 3 can cook and 1 voted out. then gretal can ooze over the evictee about the crap food they dished up. claire and courtney in a hot tub lamenting their inability to boil eggs to a soft boil, adam and callum oiled up pumping iron, getting ripped while talking about the pro’s and con’s of braising or roasting pork belly.
hang on. sorry. that was a dream I had last night. disregard last post.
Hey great spotting David of this spoiler on the DT website.
The editing has also been appalling this year also with people being up for elimination suddenly being shown in challenges later that week.
If you actually read the Telegraph online – you deserve everything you get.
Pretty lousy of NewsLtd to spill the beans…. Have some respect to your readers, the viewers, and your reputation ffs.
I wonder if ten is going to contact crikey as well
You have to remember Daily Telegraph is owned by News Limited, which is a partner with MasterChef. News Limited publishes the MC magazine each month, and the metropolitan papers have extensive coverage of the series. DT has just got ahead of itself when it reveals who was eliminated, but it should not damage the relationship.
Ooops!!! 😀
It’s the Daily Telegraph. Hardly the most professional newspaper in Australia. It’s basically on par with British tabloids
The obvious remedy is for TEN to release No evictee information about the episodes until they have gone to air.
what a bunch of drips
