@ Kovertreet Micheal Healy is a very clever programmer. Monday and Thursday nights are "soft" this year as the audience has grown weary of Desperate Housewives. Tim Worner seems to be incapable of noticing that drama series lose a little steam with each subsequent series. RSO has had an easy run so far - but Criminal Minds will offer stronger competition. Sea Patrol has also benefitted from a soft Thursday and Tim Worner's inability to programme the slot effectively - (anyone who programmes Vicar of Dibley repeats deserves what they get). It will be very interesting to see how Rush goes on Thursday against SP - the Masterchef effect will give Rush an amazing lead in and I think Sea Patrol's figures will collapse - the demos are bad anyway, but it only has a couple more eps to go.

ABC2 should make its Sunday line-up more enticing to viewers. They still struggle to beat One at the end of the week, because Sunday is letting them down.

I'm a little confused. On Monday night's rating, it shows Desperate Housewives at 724,000 viewers - however this list shows it at 939,000. Is the updated figure including DVR stats?

@ Ronnie - actually Sea Patrol is still doing around 1.2 m and RSO has gone up each week. CH has dropped off though but that's mainly from 7 stuffing it around.

The primary channel share is almost a 3-way tie, but Ten is winning key demos off a way lower cost base. Seven are very lucky to holding - thanks to News, TT and H&A. Neighbours (#94) is actually costing 10 a winning lining up, and surely must be in real danger of being axed. Nine and Seven need to re-think their approach to prime time. (This does not mean giving Matty Johns and Matt Newton their own shows! - Trainwreck alert) . Both these networks old-fashioned dramas in RSO, SP and CH have also stopped delivering for them.

Ten should just give up showing the football, it is proven now that it doesn't work, they don't even score at or above 20%, that tis what is hurting them. Just look at channel 2, you show good programs, you get results.

It's not often the TEN beats Nine for the total view for the week (in the primary channels) again they were only saved from 3rd spot by GO! Must make them think. TEN really needs that 3rd channel to be general entertainment to compete with GO! and 7TWO.

Seven will be breathing a sigh of relief after taking out the week by only 0.5% with its mediocre line-up (apart from Packed to the Rafters of course).
