Til Death replaces Nightline

As of Monday night US comedy Til' Death now airs in place of Nine's axed Nightline.

Kellie Connolly has been replaced with Brad Garrett… at least Nightline has been replaced with US comedy Til’ Death.

It began reruns last night on Nine, in place of the axed News programme.

On Thursday there are alternate Footy Shows and on Friday night Movie: Lords of Dogtown.

  1. Nightline was never on at the same time and they wonder why nobody watches it.

One also imagines Nine are throwing in the towel for ABC News 24…

  2. A terrible joke.Did Nine ever stop to think of the people who can’t always be there for the earlier news bulletins.

This would have to be one of the worst things this side of Nine ditching the old Sale of the Century/Temptation game show of what would have been 30 years in 2010 for that garbage 2.5 men wwhich is an inferior replacement.

  3. I was just reading about ‘Til Death the other day… Sounds horrible / amazing! I hope we get the later seasons.

  4. What’s in a name? Quite a lot really! Replacing Nightline with Til death reminds me of dare I pun the ‘kiss of death’ that the ABC tried when they took Good News Week off air back in 1996 and substituted it with ‘One foot in the grave’!!!! Not a good omen. Sense prevailed and GNW was back in 1997 and went on and on and on! Perhaps 9 will see reason and when a major news event occurs resurrect the lovely Kellie or someother poor sod to read the late news!

  5. In Brisbane Til Death only aired on Monday nite, 2nite its out, 2moro nite it is out bcause of Hey Hey airing at 10.30 and u hav stated y its not on thursday or friday

  6. What a kick in the face. Not only do they axe Nightline, but they replace it with Til’ Death, which has got to rival According to Kim as worst. sitcom. ever.
