  1. I’m surprised Ten stuck with this show, when they are so trigger-happy in nixing anything that doesn’t rate sufficiently. I surf into this show and find myself staying and enjoying it. It’s a good format with good personnel. It actually works.

  2. If they want to get serious and have a good quality show they should axe the 3 stooges who are currently hosting it and put people like George Negus, Jennifer Byrne, Mike Carlton and Kerri-Anne Kennerley as hosts, all of whom have been on the panel before doing a much better job and upstaging the current 3 muskateers.

  3. They are funnier and just as knowledgable as many of the “so called ” political reporters..This show has more serious political content every night, than Today Tonight and A Current Affair put together.Good idea to do this show on election night.

  4. Thumbs up for Ten for trying to balance they AFL commitments with their election coverage.

However, given it looks like its a tight race, I doubt there will be a clear winner before 7:30pm when they cross to the AFL. The 7pm team will just be filling in time so to speak, and won’t get to break the news.

But a re-cap on Sunday night at 6:30pm would seem to fit the 7pm-project style bettter.

  5. I’m with Ducko, despite being a regular 7pm viewer – my eyes will be firmly on ABC Kerry Obrien & Antony Green coverage; if my fingers get restless, flipping to Sky News – not the hit and miss of heaven help him Dave Hughes. 10 is better served showing family movies as an alternative to the political junkies/tragics.

  6. @Al. They no longer “look like they they’ve come from the nearest rave party”. The photo David has used is old and not an accurate reflection of how the hosts currently dress. Charlie now wears a proper suit, and Dave wears a tie.
