Jeff Goldblum has called it quits on Law and Order: Criminal Intent, amid speculation about the show’s future.

Airing on the cable USA Network, the show is tipped to get a final 8 episode run for a 10th and final season, according to Deadline Hollywood.

That season could draw upon some of its former stars including Vincent D’Onofrio.

The show has aired on USA since 2007.

Goldblum neglected to mention if he planned to visit any cliffs in New Zealand, but I will keep you posted.

  1. Well I reckon he’s a perfect fit for the show, and is more interesting than Vincent in the past few seasons.

The preceding couple of seasons were mostly boring I found, but this season I find is very entertaining (not sure exactly what changed, but it’s for the better).

    Nothing beats seasons 1-5 though.

  2. This might explain why there was no mention of him being on Criminal Intent when he appeared on Top Gear this week, unless the Poms don’t get that show.

  3. Hopefully they will continue with someone else, I tuned out once it was Jeff Goldblum only, I always got the feeling that he was looking over at Cue Cards and reading his lines off them, really was off-putting.

  4. He was the worst person to put into the show! This could be the boost c.i needs. I hope they don’t axe it but give it another go with someone better
