A little Knowledge may be dangerous but Foxtel will make its Knowledge and Adventure tier available to all subscribers for two weeks from Sept 2-16.

The channels include:

117 BIO
119 How To Channel
132 STVDIO
606 History
612 BBC Knowledge
615 Animal Planet
616 NAT GEO WILD
617 Crime & Investigation Network
628 Nat Geo Adventure
634 Discovery Turbo MAX
638 Science Channel
646 Discovery Travel & Living

  1. Some of the best programming on Foxtel comes via these channels (though I’m not yet sold on Turbo MAX). Hopefully the trial will alert a lot of new viewers to the quality of stuff on offer.

  3. So those with the channels should get a discount for 2 weeks?… yeah right LOL

    I watch BBC Knowledge every day, a bit of History is something interesting is on and same for BIO and How to but not much of the others.

    I hate how they tie in a popular channel like BBC K with lessor one but to be BBC K you have to get the lot!

  4. I assume this would be to boost interest in these channels as some are going into +2 or HD very soon based on Monday’s article on this site.
    I already have all these channels, but dont seem to watch them that often.
