Seven will air a discussion on Such Is Life: The Troubled Times of Ben Cousins on Thursday night, following the second part of the documentary.
The panel discussion, which will dissect Cousins’ battle with drugs and his return to AFL football, will air at 9:30pm in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.
Panellists include former Richmond coach Terry Wallace, AFL football operations manager Adrian Anderson, Cousins’ father Bryan, Tigers chief executive Brendon Gale, psychologist Michael Carr-Gregg and Mike Sheahan.
Cousins will not take part.
The discussion won’t air in Sydney or Brisbane, which both take the doco at 8:30pm on Wednesday and Thursday.
Seven is said to have paid a six figure sum for the controversial doco, which was filmed across two years.

Will this be repeated anytime soon on 7TWO?
It was reported today that Nine’s Footy Show in the AFL states will run its own Cousins expose directly opposite the panel discussion.
Hopefully, the discussion show is aired sometime in Sydney and Brisbane on 7TWO.
Anyone else would be in jail and in disgrace, but because he chases bits of pigskin about (though not as often as he was paid to), he’s branded a “celebrity” and exists on a plane somewhat above the rest of us.
Seven should be ashamed of perpetuating and validating this state of affairs.
