Susan Boyle confronts taunting teens

Susan Boyle gave a group of teenagers a piece of her mind after they mocked her while she was travelling alone on a train.

Susan Boyle gave a group of teenagers a piece of her mind after they mocked her while she was travelling alone on a train from Edinburgh to her home town of Blackburn, West Lothian.

British Press claim she broke down in tears before defending herself saying: “I’m ashamed of you all. Shut up. I don’t normally get angry. It’s not funny. If it was you, you wouldn’t like it.”

An onlooker told The Sun newspaper: “Susan was minding her own business on the train. Some people were taking pictures. There were people laughing at her – it was not nice. People noticed she was sobbing. Something was upsetting her.

“She then turned to the people sitting opposite her and told them off. Susan certainly put them in their place – and good for her. It can’t be easy dealing with the fame she has but she handled it well.”

Boyle’s brother says despite being worth an estimated £10 million, she is living on just £300 a week and has to use public transport.

“Susan said to me, ‘I’ve been told I get £300 a week because I’m a novice,'” he said.

  1. @Ross, it’s inevitable… she was flavour of the month for a little while and will be back living with her cats in 12-24 months, depending on how well her Christmas album does (do Christmas albums ever do well unless you are Mariah Carey?). The novelty of an average looking middle aged woman having “the voice of an angel” has gone.

A hyped-up fad comes along every year, and they die out just as quickly.

  2. Whoever is looking after her money should At least let her have a car and personal driver so that she can move around safely! Very sad indeed.
I feel really sorry for her. Nobody, famous or not, should have to put up with that sort of thing.

  3. I’m not a fan, but I am disgusted at how she has been milked, used and mocked so ruthlessly. Yet she retains her meek humbleness. My heart goes out to her – she’s been consumed and disposed of.
