The Chaser‘s Craig Reucassel will host the local version of Balls of Steel for the Comedy Channel.
will see guest comedians perform stupid, dangerous and ill-advised stunts to lay claim to the title of having the biggest “balls of steel”.
Reucassel will be joined in each episode by up to five guest comedians who will showcase the antics they have performed that week to an audience who will decide who is the winner of the Balls of Steel trophy.
The 10-part series from Southern Star series will be filmed in Melbourne and Sydney. It is based on the UK comedy series and set to air early next year.
Filming begins next month.

Nine showed a cut-up version of the UK show last night. They skipped the ‘award’ at the end and I have a feeling it was a best-of of the segments (either that or it was my ‘favourite episode’).
Hope they get it right!
Why don’t they just do the stunts, the studio bit of this show is just rubbish padding.
I think you give Craig Reucassel too much credit. This show sounds like a good fit for him.

Awesome! will they use their own characters or steal the ones from the UK and see how they are taken here? I would think the guy who pretends to steal and runs (Neg) won’t be taken lightly and a few lawsuits may come out of the other stunts but I am keen to see this!
