Gallery: COPS L.A.C.

By David Knox on September 11, 2010 / Filed Under News 13

This week TV Tonight dropped by the set of COPS L.A.C. shooting in Sydney.

Seaview Local Command centre isn’t quite on the east coast of the city, but rather a building in a maritime area that takes advantage of a city backdrop. It even manages to capture two bridges in its windows: ANZAC Bridge and Harbour Bridge.

The location being rented for the shoot is a vacant, contemporary building that makes the most of its natural light and relative silence.

Filming on the series concludes next week.

The show airs 8:3pm Thursdays on Nine.

It’s hardly a ‘gallery’ with 5 photos in it. You can’t even enlarge them!

I’ve watched the first two episodes and am less than impressed… not a patch on City Homicide.

I gave the first episode a go but really it wasn’t that good. The US Admiral subplot was corny and dumb.

Regardless of the show it must be nice to go on sets and shooting locations like that.

Now the question is will the ratings stabilize and if not how soon before it is shifted to 9:30 or later, or to GO! ?

Hopefully it concludes for good. The worst Australian drama on television, an absolute embarrassment.

Isn’t the third shot, from the episode that aired last night?

It hasn’t improved, I did watch the entire second episode, but seriously, the plots are all over the shop, the stories don’t have decent twists, it’s all, yeah, thought they’d do that.

    Pity. It could have worked.
