Spoilers: Showcase will air Season 5 of Dexter in late November.

It airs on Thursday November 25 at 8.30pm, two months after its US premiere.

In the aftermath of last season’s chilling finale, Rita’s death has left Dexter feeling responsible, possibly even…guilty. Unable to deal with the trauma, Dexter makes a drastic decision that will impact everyone around him. Quinn stirs up trouble at the station when he notes that Rita’s murder, which is being pinned on the Trinity Killer, doesn’t fit his normal murder profile. Things get even more heated when Quinn suggests to LaGuerta that they look at the husband: Dexter Morgan. Meanwhile, Quinn offers Debra much needed support, causing her to see Quinn in a new light.

  1. They probably already have the series but they would e in the middle of screening season 4.. They can’t just stop it and leave out the final few episodes of season 4 – there pretty critical to season 5. I know they are repeats but not for some people..

  3. Stargate Universe, can’t wait until it’s back. After a mixed first half of the first season it got excellent. So Bravo to foxtel for fast tracking that.

    I just don’t get why that can be fast tracked and not dexter? 2 months is reasonable.

    The biggest issue with delaying these shows that are so good and addictive is that even if you wait until it’s on foxtel to start watching, the urge to just go and download the rest of the season once it’s started is really strong.

  4. SciFi channel will be broadcasting Stargate Universe (Season 2).. 3 days after the US.

    September 28th {Usa} / October 1st {Australia}

    and as for Sanctuary (Season 3).. that will also be just days after the Usa broadcast for Australia..
