  1. I can hardly believe the disgusting Channel Nine tactics last night during the final moments of The Farmer Wants A Wife. I don’t think I have ever seen a network so insult a their devoted audience with advertising.

    In the second last segment of the show we watched as Farmer Nathan, engagement ring in hand, proposed to Amanda. A rather harsh cut took us to the commercial break while we waited for her answer. Ok fair enough, I was happy to wait. During the rather long commercial break we were treated to a “sneak peak” about an upcoming show which completely destroyed the mood and anticipation of what was about to happen on Farmer. They couldn’t even trust their audience to wait until the program had finished to advertise a new one.

    Then, the final insult. Just as Amanda was about to answer, a lower sceen advert came up for Survivor which was played all the way over her reply and the host’s reaction. I was so shocked and distracted by the disruption I missed the moment they had been so busy promoting the entire series!

    Producers of the actual program must have been horrified to see their product so carelessly handled. And loyal fans hurt to be treated like dirt.
