Check out these photos of the US version of Being Human.
Considering it’s an American adaptation (and we all know how that can send shudders) these look pretty good. Pleased to see the class of the supernatural house-mates hasn’t become too extreme. They could easily have wound up in a house that looked like it belonged in The O.C.
The US series follows three paranormal, 20-something roommates living in Boston, with Sam Witwer as vampire Aidan, Meaghan Rath as ghost Molly and Sam Huntington as werewolf Josh.
There’s no word on a US premiere yet, let alone any Aussie network taking

I guess my only question is … Why?
Oh no. I’ll give it a chance, and I don’t think a remake takes anything away from the original – if it sucks I’ll just ignore it – but I think the casting is awful. At least Sam’s eyebrows don’t look as scary as they used to.
Leave it alone!
The UK version was perfect and the American’s need to “get over themselves” and appreciate the excellent TV from outside of the US!
This whole “US Version” business is just plain arrogance on their part.
The US does make some good TV but its rarely when they “redo” something.
I’ll give this a chance, but I doubt it will live up to the UK one which I love. The pictures don’t do a lot for me, sadly. Though I do see they are at least attempting to tone it down and as you say, not make it too glitzy. Its interesting that they seem to be dressed pretty much the same as the UK characters too.
excited to see how it pans out, but i will go into it thinking it will never beat the original. 😉
I agree they do some good shows but you have to be kinding they do things better then anywhere else look at Kath and Kim – give me a break
Being a mite disingenuous…UK has churned out some great tv over the years. And to find US brilliance, you have to wade through a lot of crap.
I think both countries have had moments of brilliance and moments of awfulness.
America do things better than any other country anyways! The US is the best at making TV by a long long way
