The final episode of Insight for 2010 explores the rise in anti-Islamic sentiment across Europe and the United States, examining what is at the core of the backlash.

In European countries, the success of multiculturalism is being questioned, while US polls show that anti-Islamic sentiment is now higher than it was than a month after the 2001 September 11 attacks.

Insight will examine why the anti-Islamic sentiment is happening at this time and whether the sentiment exists in Australia.
