Muirhead case adjourned

The case against suspended ABC Collectors host Andy Muirhead has been adjourned.

Muirhead is facing two charges relating to access and possession of child pornography.

He made a brief appearance in the Hobart Magistrates Court today but Magistrate Sam Mollard said it was “frankly embarassing” that Muirhead was back in court only to be told that nothing could be done.

His lawyer argued more time was needed to analyse material, statements and her client’s computer.

She suggested that could take less than six weeks.

Muirhead is yet to enter a plea.

The case has been adjourned indefinitely.
