Nine has replaced tonight's Big Bang Theory episodes with a special: William & Kate: A Royal Engagement.

Sorry Big Bang fans… there’s a Prince getting engaged.

Nine has replaced tonight’s Big Bang Theory episodes with a special: William & Kate: A Royal Engagement.

Allison Langdon talks to the insiders and the experts, the royal watchers and some of the old cynics about William and Kate meeting. She also headed to St Andrews and prowled the streets where they dated. Some of the experts said Kate would never be good enough, others love her “ordinary” background. The determination of William not to go thru what his parents went through… divorce.

She also looks at the dresses, the type of wedding cake, the incredible security operation that will shadow the wedding and what it means to Britain – a boost in troubled financial times.

It also looks at the ordeal for William and Harry with the death of his mother and atouches on what they will do in the future.

This doco is produced by Nine News.

It airs at 8:30pm for one hour.

  1. Dear Channel Nine,

No one cares about The Royal Engagement, you could have done what channel ten did and replace shows that no one has cared about for years, The Simpson repeats have been seen a gagillion times, and who honestly cares about Neighbours.

Anyway, The Big Bang Theory of all shows…seriously, did you really think The Big Bang Theory got hits because of the Timeslot? Well it surely proved didn’t it.

Obviously, you don’t know how lucky you are in getting this show for your network.

Or better yet, you could have not shown it at all, considering Channel Ten’s ratings suffered, you think you would have done a last minute axing.

    Regards,

    The General Public.

  2. i was still okay coz of the reply on GO! but when i saw Fringe and 2.5Men taking up the schedule i got super pi**ed off.

GO! even said South Park was gonna move up an hour at 10.30, but no it was 2.5Men and South Park was back to normal at 11.30

    WTF?
get it together Nine & Co.

  3. Annoyed about new ep being pulled. Suspicously, they said it “won’t be seen”, not it “won’t be seen until next week”, so when is it actually going to be on now that we are almost at non-ratings? Are all new eps going to be played, or are some now going to be held-over to next year? I can see myself potentially needing to get the DVD when it comes out, as I had to do with season 1 due to how much 9 moved it around.
