Ex-Gladiator joins Biggest Loser

Author, journalist, martial arts expert and one time Gladiator, Tiffany Hall, has joined The Biggest Loser trainers.

Having promised a “family” version of The Biggest Loser in 2011, the TEN Reality show has announced it will feature 4 families of 4 meeting 4 trainers: Michelle Bridges, Shannan Ponton, the Commando and author, journalist, martial arts expert and one time Gladiator, Tiffany Hall.

Each trainer will be assigned one family to train.

Hall has been appearing on The Circle as the show’s health expert helping Chrissie Swan to lose weight.

Of The Biggest Loser she says, “I see it as an amazing opportunity to give Australia their black belt in health”….and given that she’s a 5th Dan black belt in taekwondo herself, that’s not out of the realms of possibility.”

Michelle Bridges added, “It’ll be great to welcome some new blood this year but they certainly shouldn’t underestimate just how tough this job is going to be. Good luck to them, but if they think they’re in for a chance of winning then 2 words…..bring it…..”

Hayley Lewis is also confirmed to return as host in 2011.

  1. I feel bad that the trainers have to weigh in and eat all that bad food. So mean to make them do that. Yes – the family thing I don’t like and if ever clashes with ‘How I met your mother’ then it will be bumped. Every night is better cause episodes are shorter. Original format was the best!

  2. I am looking forward to the new biggest loser in two thousand and eleven

  3. @Jen – you must have been on the internet when you wrote that comment. It would have taken less effort to type “Tiffany Hall” into your favourite search engine. And, since it’s the first result (in Google anyway), you’d have your answer by now.
