Check out the new trailer for V.

Jane Badler makes a moody appearance towards the end as Diana.

This follows some fervent campaigning from longtime fans of the series for her to win a comeback role. Badler even sent some of her Neighbours work to producers to convince them she still had the goods.

  3. I thought that V started well – had a slow middle season – and then the last few episodes it picked up with the promise that maybe Season 2 could be better. Lets hope so. I think the problem has been too much teasing with alien eyes and bits and pieces of green skin. I think they need to have a major reveal of what the aliens actually look like – this might keep interest going. I can only presume that Jane Badler is leading the alien fleet that is on its way to earth.

  4. @Mandy – I’m with you. Like most of these series it started well but then descended into the same old tropes. There were the same obvious yawning gaps in the advanced tech which, on the one hand, permits the Visitors to undetectably stream video from magic jackets, while being incapable of preventing unauthorised people from wandering around freely on their ships.

    Tyler bugs me too. I hope he gets eaten.

    It doesn’t fit in with the flow of the preview. Perhaps someone had the sequence on rewind rather than fast forward…..

  9. Very much looking forward to this. From what I’ve read, Farscape creator Rockne S. O’Bannon has been working on this season, and I’m hopeful that the show will hit its stride here.

  10. @owl – I think the promo is just catching us up, plus don’t forget the closing shot of S1 had a whole bunch more ships approaching the Earth.

  11. The first season was average, and I was going to stop watching, but this actually was promising. looks like they know they’re going to get cancelled anyway, so they’re going full speed ahead with the awesome stuff. the music in this promo was great. i really like it.

    i know that tyler isn’t actually dead, but i wish he was lol. what an annoying character! plus where is hobbs?

  14. Ah Jane you are still hot. Even for a Nanna rat-eating alien you are still hot. lost interest in the series after a few eps but will try to re-engage in the second series when things get nasty
