Bondi Vet Special: Your Very 1st Puppy

Dr. Chris Brown follows three families as they take on the responsibility of owning their very first puppy.

Woof…

Tomorrow night TEN screens a Bondi Vet special in which Dr. Chris Brown follows three families as they take on the responsibility of owning their very first puppy.

We follow these families as they chose their puppies and bring them home, and then as they realise things aren’t quite as easy as they first thought!

From toilet training, to teething, to socialising, Dr Chris is on hand to provide guidance and advice as these families take on a new puppy- for life!

During the program Dr Chris educates potential puppy owners on topics such as; the importance of vaccinations and worming, taking into account where you live and the temperament and genetic problems of particular breeds when choosing a puppy, and the fact that a puppy will cost you at least $25000 over its life time!

This is a must watch for anyone who is thinking about buying a puppy, and for anyone who has just got one for Christmas!

It airs 7:30pm Friday 28th January.

  2. Did Dr Chris say you can walk your puppy from 10 weeks?? Our vet said ours can’t be walked until she has all her vaccinations and that will be at about 16 weeks!

  3. Really wish someone would upload the episode as We just bought a new puppy ourselves and I caught the middle of the episode as I was at work.

Please would be very grateful it was very interesting (the bit I saw anyway)

  4. This should be interesting. Dr. Chris needs to careful though because dog breeding associations will go to town on him if he says anything they deem as being the wrong thing.
