Resume normal programming

From today TV Tonight wraps up summer Hiatus and resumes normal programming.

From today TV Tonight wraps up summer Hiatus and resumes normal programming.

That means more posts published across the day (many of you like to visit more regularly).

Each story is also sent out via Twitter.

Of course many readers will be aware that most big stories were covered during the summer season (“Break? What break!”).

To mark the occasion, the first of several major interviews with Network Programmers begins today with ABC1’s Brendan Dahill. This is the second time this site has featured back to back interviews with the decision makers.

Thanks for your patience during the last few weeks.

Here we go again….

  1. @Sydney2K – David was going to feature an interview on that very subject last week but it’s been bumped to sometime in March. On a different blog.

And David, I’m glad that you appear to not know how to take a proper break. Best TV blog by a long shot.

  2. I like the idea of interviewing each network’s chief programmer, but I want to hear from the phantom programmer- the guy who deliberately programs a show several minutes later than advertised, or pulls off a show only two or three episodes into a run. I want to know why they do it from their very lips, and confirm what we all suspect.

  3. @RichoTB – Spot on!!! Couldn’t have said it better myself!!!

Welcome ‘back’ David!! Thanks for keeping is up to date during your break and look forward to another great year!

  4. Thank you for what you do here. Including when on hiatus. But one question. If the hiatus is over why does the site up the top say “On Hiatus”? Also the date is still wrong (not that I mind).

Exactly David – for a bloke who’s been on hiatus there’s been plenty of posts on the site. Maybe you’re coming back to work to get a rest?
